Production conditions have come to play an increasingly important role for modern consumers and substantially influence their purchasing decisions. Of course, every product is ultimately produced by people whose working conditions and social situation are therefore also of great importance.

The product tree-seed is “produced” by people who sometimes live in very difficult social circumstances. Many depend on their income from this activity which enables them to substantially improve their situation.

We, as Christmas tree producers or representatives of Christmas tree producers, naturally want these people’s working conditions to meet the respective country’s legal requirements and provisions in terms of payment, safety provisions and other labour law requirements.

So that we can be assured that you also observe the relevant framework provisions in the countries in which you have the Fir seeds harvested, we would kindly ask you to sign the enclosed statement and return it to us at your earliest convenience.
